On July 4th, we lost our dear father, Warren Albert Olson. Born on March 26, 1932, he was the youngest of 14 children born to Lewis and Agnes (Linnell) Olson of Lincoln Plantation (Wilsons Mills) ME. He was predeceased by 12 of his siblings and leaves behind a sister, Irene (Olson) Sweeney, of Lunenburg VT. Warren attended Gould Academy in Bethel ME and was recently able to attend his 60th class reunion. Throughout his life, he enjoyed carpentry and woodworking and leaves behind many cherished heirlooms of furniture built by him for family members. He schooled as a farrier in Houston, Texas and spent the majority of his latter life shoeing and working with horses in New England and Florida. He also loved the state of Alaska, where he spent a number of years working for the Tesoro Oil Company and raising Arabian horses. Warren leaves behind two daughters, Paula Reynolds of Columbia NH and Gretta Olson-Wilder of Belmont NH; a son, Randall Olson of Whitefield NH; grandchildren, Eric Reynolds, Rodney Reynolds, Debbie Reynolds, Lief Olson, Melissa (Olson) McCoy, Kim Olson, Austin Wilder and Logan Wilder; and great grandchildren, Steven Reynolds, Cody Reynolds, Rebekah Reynolds, Haile McCoy and Mia McCoy . Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton NH. Warren will be laid to rest amongst his parents and siblings in the family cemetery in Wilson Mills ME at a later date.
