WAVA LEE (McKEARNEY) ADAMS, 81, of Grandview Dr., Groveton, died peacefully on May 4, 2024, at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, after a sudden illness.

Wava was born on April 13, 1943, in Groveton, NH a daughter of the late Francis Carl and Helen Ina (Stiles) McKearney and was a lifelong resident of Groveton.

"Nana" as she was lovingly called, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Wava is survived by her husband of 32 years, "Jerry" Adams of Groveton; her daughter Kim Dion and husband Dennis of Grand Prairie, TX; three grandchildren "DJ" Dion; Christopher Dion; and Sarah Mainwaring and husband Tyler; three great-grandchildren and one on the way; her four step-children Richard Adams and wife Agnes of Barnet, VT; Cindy O'Connor and husband Kevin of Cannon Lake, TX; Timothy Adams and wife Yvonne of Miami, FL; and Daniel Adams of Littleton, NH; seven step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her first husband Richard Clark and her brothers.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. The funeral service will be on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Eungil Cho of the Groveton United Methodist Church officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at the convenience of the family in the Northumberland Cemetery.
