Obituary
WAYNE WENDELL TETLEY, 74, of Maidstone, VT passed away February 9, 2018, at home after a long battle with cancer.
Wayne was born on March 24, 1943, in Littleton, NH a son of Wendell William and Helen (Thurston) Tetley.
Wayne graduated from Lincoln High School and attended the University of New Hampshire and Plymouth State College. Wayne and Doris married in 1961 and lived in Lincoln for over 60 years. You may have known him from "The Pulsashuns" or "Wayne Tetley Building Contractors".
When not working, you could find Wayne fishing; snowmobiling; biking; playing piano or watching all the New England sports teams. The fish at Maidstone Lake are all breathing a sigh of relief today.
Wayne deeply loved his family who
were
his pride and joy. The love, care and attention he gave his entire family had no bounds. He will be immensely missed and always held close
in
heart.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 57 years Doris (Bossie) Tetley of Maidstone; three sons David Tetley of Lincoln, NH; Peter Tetley and his wife Pam of Whitefield, NH; Keith Tetley and his wife Gail of Tiverton, RI; and one daughter Kristin Tetley of Colchester, VT; five grandchildren Chris Tetley; Austin Tetley; Liza Tetley; Griffin Tetley and Ryder Tetley and two great-granddaughters Olivia and Ava Tetley. He is also survived by three brothers Vernon Tetley of Hookset, NH; Paul Tetley and his wife Judy of Lincoln, NH and Phillip Tetley and his wife Maryanne of Hertford, NC, nieces, and nephews.
Wayne was predeceased by his parents Helen (Thurston) Tetley and Wendell William Tetley.
A celebration of Wayne's life will be held on June 30, 2018, at 2:00 pm at 2001 West Side Lake Road; Maidstone, VT. Please RSVP to Doris either through email: molly541@yahoo.com or phone 802-676-3483 by June 22, 2018. Please bring your stories and photos of Wayne to share.
