ALBERTA HARRIET (BERRY) HIBBARD, 95, of Groveton, died on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at The Morrison in Whitefield, NH with her loving family by her side.

Alberta was born on November 22, 1927, in Columbia, NH to the late Samuel and Alma (Kirk) Berry. She was a graduate of Colebrook Academy, class of 1946. She married Cecil Hibbard September 19, 1947. She worked at Nelson's Egg Farm for many years, made fresh donuts for S&W Market and worked at Campbell Envelope as an envelope machine operator until her retirement.

Alberta was lovingly known by her family and friends as; "Berta", "Ma" and "Gram Hibb". She enjoyed being with her family, cooking, reading, knitting, sewing, and word-search puzzles. She also loved her "Morrison" family and participating in their activities and outings.

Alberta is survived by her three daughters Cheryl Goulet (Louis); Kathy Hodgdon and Rebecca St. Cyr (Richard) all of Groveton and one son Maurice "Moe" Hibbard (Lori) of Stark; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; one sister Betty Anderson (David) of Columbia, South Carolina; one sister-in-law Arnetta Berry of California; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband Cecil Hibbard on September 19, 1995; two granddaughters Kelly Bean-Hawes and Wendy Bean; and two brothers Robert Berry and Bernard Berry.

Calling hours for Alberta will be held on Monday, December 26, 2022, at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm at the funeral home with Fr. Timothy Brooks of St. Paul's Episcopal Church officiating. Burial will be on Monday, June 19, 2023, at 1:00 pm in the Stewartstown Hollow Cemetery.
