ANDRE ROBERT "ANDY" LABRECQUE, 63, of Knowlton Rd., Stark, NH died suddenly on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster.
Andy was born on January 29, 1959, in Berlin NH. He was one of ten children to the late Jean Paul and Adele (Legere) Labrecque. Andy graduated from Berlin High School in 1977 and resided in Berlin until moving to Stark with his family in 1989.
Andy was an avid drummer who played in many rock-n-roll bands over the years. He had an infectious smile and a sense of humor that was unparalleled. In his youth, Andy enjoyed playing hockey and was known for his skating abilities. He started and ran a boxing club in Stark to help the local youth learn the sport. Andy enjoyed golfing, giving drum lessons, and spending time with his grandchildren. He had a big heart and was loved by everyone who met him. He will be dearly missed.
Andy is survived by his beloved wife of forty-one years Koren (Simino) Labrecque of Stark; son and daughter-in-law Ryan and Jackie Labrecque and their two sons Lewis and Leo all of Oviedo, FL; daughter and son-in-law Andrea and Nathan Huntington and their two sons Eliot and Benjamin all of Groveton; nephew and niece Michael and Samantha Simino, who he proudly help raise; four brothers Danny; Conrad; Paul; and Ray; along with four sisters Dianne; Gail; Pam; and Corinne; and numerous other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and sister Anita.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Father Timothy Brooks of the St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Lancaster, officiating. Interment will follow at the Emerson Road Cemetery in Stark.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Andy's name to the Special Olympics of New Hampshire; PO Box 3598; Concord, NH 03302 or sonh.org in honor of his help and dedication to the organization and his grandson Eliot.
