David Roy Hand 63, of Plymouth, NH and formerly of Stark, died suddenly on Friday, May 27, 2022, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

He was born September 20, 1959 in Stark NH to the late Fredrick Charles Hand JR and Doris Vivian (Maguire) Hand.

He attended Stark Elementary school, and Groveton Schools. He worked many years at Ryan's service station, before becoming a logger.

He loved spending time with his grand kids, playing cribbage, and listening to country music.

He is survived by his son Jason Hand of Meredith NH, Step son John Stanley Armstrong II of Groveton NH. 6 Grandchildren, Leona Hand; Ian Hand; Evan Armstrong; Katherine Boivin and husband Josh; Johnny Armstrong; and William Armstrong; four Great-grandchildren, Clayton Armstrong; Lincoln Armstrong; Maggie Boivin; and Cole Boivin. Five brothers, Gerard Hand of Groveton; Larry Hand and wife Nancy of Evan Mills, NY; Donald Hand and wife Norma of Groveton, NH; Jon Hand and wife Sandra of Stewartstown; Dean Hand and wife Rose of Colebrook; seven sisters Margaret Willard and husband Steve of Springfield, VT; Eleanor Riley and husband Jody of Beacher Falls, VT; Doris Kennett and husband John of North Stratford; Carrie Wiswell and husband Erwin of Bristol, NH; Connie Hand of Colebrook; Lori Howard and husband Moon of Colebrook; Terri Hand and companion Mike Belouin of Colebrook; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents, and four siblings, Raymond Hand; Mary Ann Hand; Richard Hand; and Wayne Hand.

There will be no calling hours, Graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at 10:00 am in the Emerson Road Cemetery in Stark, NH, with Terri A. Charron, Esq.; of Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton, officiating.
