Paul Jewett Carver,81, of Woodbury, NJ; formerly of Philadelphia, PA, and San Francisco, CA. died on February 19, 2022.
Born in Lancaster, NH, on January 9, 1941, he was the son of the late, Edwin J. and Helen (McCormack) Carver.
Paul is survived by his son, James G. Carver; partner, Joseph Kiley, brothers, Robert Carver, Lynwood Carver; former wife, Nora Carver. He was also predeceased by his sister, Beverly Brown, and brother, Peter Carver.
Paul proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New Haven, CT in 1966. He retired as a cook with the Underwood Memorial Hospital, Woodbury. Paul also worked for many years as a stocker for Kohl's in Mantua, NJ. He was a member of St. Joachim Parish in Bellmawr.
Graveside service with Military honors will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022, at 2:00 pm in the Northumberland Cemetery, with Fr. Daniel Deveau, pastor of the St. Marguerite d'Youville Parish officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
