ROBERT "BOBBY" LUCE SIMPSON , 73, of Jefferson, died on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, MA due to complications of COVID-19.

Bobby was born on February 28, 1948, in Lancaster, NH a son of the late Arthur Roland and Stella Alice (Morrill) Simpson. He has been a lifelong resident of the Jefferson/Groveton area.

Bobby was employed as a heavy equipment operator for Coleman Gravel.

He is survived by six siblings Arthur "Skip" Simpson and wife Anne of Ocala, FL; Arlene Young of Groveton; William "Bill" Simpson and wife Mary of Columbia; Edith McBey of Franklin; Debi Simpson of Groveton and Kathy Gaudette and husband "Yogi" of Groveton; many nieces and nephews; and his companion Glenna Ingerson of Jefferson.

Bobby was predeceased by his parents and one brother Jon Simpson.

There will be no services at this time. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 10:00 am in the Northumberland Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
