SHERRY LEE DOWSE, 69 , Colebrook died peacefully, on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at her son and daughter-in-law's home in Colebrook after a brief illness.

Sherry was born on April 23, 1952 in Stratford, NH a daughter of Dean E. Scott, Sr. and Louella I. (Riff) Scott. She was a lifelong resident of Stratford, a graduate of Stratford High School, class of 1970.

Before retiring, Sherry worked for 26 years as a machine operator for James River and Wausau Papers retiring in 2002. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary for many years. She was a member of the Stratford High School Alumni and was the head of the alumni for several years.

Sherry is survived by her son Stephen Dowse and wife Corinne of Colebrook; three grandsons Kaiden; Kolten and Kamren all of Colebrook; two sisters Esther Scott of Bloomfield, VT; Shawna Fellows of Groveton; two brothers Reggie Scott and wife Melany of Ajo, Mexico; and Howard "Dusty" Scott of Oklahoma City, OK; her two special nephews Bee J Prosper and Adam Bedard along with many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents and one brother Dean Scott, Jr.

Memorial calling hour will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2022, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. Service will follow immediately after at 3:00 pm at the funeral home with Fr. Daniel Deveau, pastor of the St. Marguerite d'Youville Parish officiating.

Graveside will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Fairview Cemetery with Fr. Daniel Deveau, pastor of the St. Marguerite d'Youville Parish officiating.
