WILLIAM FREDERICK "BILL" LARAMEE , 64, of Melcher Court in Groveton, died suddenly at his home on Sunday, September 19, 2021. Bill went to be with his mom and dad, when he heard God calling his name.

Bill was born on September 2, 1957 in Colebrook, NH a son of the late Wilfred Earl and Pauline Mae (Hamlin) Laramee. He grew up in Colebrook and was a graduate of Colebrook Academy, class of 1975. Bill relocated from Manchester to Colebrook in 2002 to help care for his parents until after his mother died in 2010, when he moved to Groveton.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps after having gone through basic training twice, due to a medical issue at the end of his first round, He was offered an honorable medical discharge, but his desire to be a Marine was greater and he opted to go through the basic training a second time.

Bill was always a friendly soul, and always greeted everyone with a smile. He loved horses, helping at the local food pantry and being around people and he truly was happiest when he was helping someone else.

Bill is survived by his siblings Rebecca Borry and husband Arthur of Alexandria, NH; John Laramee and wife Tina of Weare, NH; Jim Laramee and wife Debbie of Florida; and Martha Laramee and husband Jerry Crete of Hudson, NH; his dog Grace and best friend Tammy; several nieces and nephews; and two aunts.

There will be no services at this time. A Celebration of Bill's life will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
