WILLIAM "SKEETER" VICTOR CLOUTIER , 72, formerly of Groveton, died on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at the Pleasant View Center in Concord where he has been a resident for the past seven years.

Skeeter was born on March 31, 1950, in Lancaster, NH one of seven children, of the late Eugene P. and Hattie F. (Mathurin) Cloutier. He was a graduate of Groveton High School. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam era having served in Germany. He was a member of the Groveton American Legion, Post #17 and of the St. Francis Xavier Church in Groveton.

Before retiring on December 31, 2007, Skeeter worked as a shipper for close to thirty years at James River/Wausau Paper Co.

Skeeter loved to go out dancing and visiting with friends and family. He was a social butterfly, who had lots of love and joy to share. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Skeeter is survived by his son Adam Cloutier of Nashua; daughter Melinda "Mina" Emerson of Manchester; three grandsons Tyler; Keenan; and Logan; siblings David Cloutier and wife Brenda of Concord; Michael Cloutier and wife Tahnya of Derby, VT; Dennis Cloutier and fiancée Angel Gnage-Stone of Littleton; Carol Ann Smith and husband Harry of Littleton; and Ann Marie Cloutier of Groveton; his ex-wife Amber Curtis and her significant other Pete Richardson of Manchester; numerous nieces; nephews and cousins.

Skeeter was predeceased by his parents; and one brother Eugene "Danny" Cloutier, Jr.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home immediately following at 2:00 pm with Fr. Daniel Deveau, pastor of the St. Francis Xavier Church, officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the St. Francis Cemetery, Brown Rd.; Groveton.
