It has always been our policy that no family who loses a child be financially burdened with dignified funeral expenses. For children under 6 months old, we provide our services for very little to no cost. Oftentimes, the only expenses families pay are transportation-related expenses and/or merchandise selected. Children’s caskets are provided at cost and oftentimes through our partnership with outside agencies such as churches and cemeteries, those expenses are often waived as well.
It is important to note that the cremation of babies who are premature or miscarried is complex. Please contact us and discuss your specific needs with our team. Your wishes and needs, as with all our families, remain highly confidential.
Indigent & Low Income Individuals
We pride ourselves in assisting all those who need our services. Low-income or indigent individuals may qualify for assistance from the municipality in which they reside. Any financial benefit paid by a city or town is not to be confused with a donation toward the funeral services you desire. It is a last-resort option to proceed with a dignified cremation. Rules and restrictions apply, depending on the municipality in which the deceased lived. Please call and speak to one of our Funeral Directors if you have questions.
Payment Policy
We are a small, family-owned business, and we strive to treat every family as equally and fairly as we can. In our effort to provide the finest services possible, we are dependent on the families we serve to make payment in a timely fashion. Our general policy is 50% of the Statement of Funeral Goods and Services be paid within 10 days, the balance is due in 30 days of the arrangements.
We pride ourselves on not turning families away; should you be under financial hardship, please discuss options with our Funeral Director.
For your convenience, we accept the following methods of payment:
- Cash or Check: Personal, bank, or money orders.
- Credit/Debit Cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover (plus processing fees)
- Life Insurance: MUST be assigned to the Funeral Home – subject to verification of policy value
- Prearrangement: through our funeral home or another funeral home should you wish to transfer
Your signature on the Statement of Funeral Goods and Services indicates that you personally accept the obligation and responsibility for complete payment of the funeral expenses.
