Overall Pricing Information
About Our Packages
The following is a list of choices that represent the cost of our most commonly selected services, to give you a realistic estimate of funeral expenses. We want to be up front and disclose a best estimate of all pricing that will affect the arrangements you select. That includes not only the funeral home related expenses, but those of outside providers as well.
You are in no way limited to these service options. While the packages below are available to all families we service, you may itemize services to select only those which are right for you from our General Price List, a hard copy of which is provided to each family we meet with in person. We are happy to discuss service arrangements in greater detail and answer any questions you may have, simply call and ask to speak to one of our funeral directors. There is no obligation for additional information in person or by phone.
Service packages listed below are effective November 15, 2025, and are subject to change without notice.
Comparing Prices
The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) has previously stated that funerals rate among the top 5 largest expenses in anyone’s lifetime. The death of a loved one is an emotionally trying time. We want to be as forthright as we can regarding cremation and burial pricing. Both here on our website, and when contacted by phone, we work to give realistic estimates of expenses based on the information we have been provided. We do not believe it is ethical for a firm to quote a low price to “get someone in the door”.
When comparing the costs of funeral and cremation providers, it is important to get an “apples to apples” comparison. There are many providers out there that advertise low rates, for families only to later find out simple items such as an online obituary, ascertaining death certificates and assistance with and submission of Veterans benefits are an additional expense. In some states, firms that advertise low cremation rates are licensed with their respective state agencies as “direct disposers”. Not a very comforting feeling when dealing with the death of a loved one. All of the above-mentioned services are included with all of our service offerings listed below.
We have found in our research, that if you compare our services with those of other funeral homes, our expenses are similar if not more economical. We strive to provide dedicated, local, and affordable service options for families throughout the North Country. If you have any questions, please never hesitate to reach out for additional information under no obligation.
